Come To The Sunshine

 

Desde los primeros Nuggets en 1972, toda la serie se ha basado en el sonido áspero y sucio del garage rock, tanto que la caja recopilatoria de Rhino de 2001, con fragmentos psicodélicos británicos y extranjeros, priorizó el rock más duro sobre el lado afrutado y refinado del psicodelia británica. Los coleccionistas atesoraban sencillos raros antes de Nuggets, pero la serie creó una estética que enfatizaba lo crudo, psicodélico, salvaje y lanudo por encima de los sonidos psicodélicos suaves, exuberantes y armoniosos de la radio pop AM. Si bien solo están disponibles en ediciones limitadas (principalmente a través de www.rhinohandmade.com), también son los primeros samplers estadounidenses de este estilo ampliamente disponibles.
