Una colección bastante ecléctica de Rhino Records de la serie "1967 Summer Of Love". En un principio parece un misterio por qué se guiaron los compiladores de la colección al meter a Dionne Warwick y The Electric Prunes en una sola caja. Tal vez Groovy Sounds sea cuando te balanceas tranquilamente en la onda ligera de "The Windows Of The World" y de repente te cubre por completo la onda de "I Had Too Much To Dream". Pero ese es el encanto de esta colección: los giros inesperados y la comprensión de que diferentes personas pueden terminar en el mismo barco.  The Woman in Red es una película de 1984 protagonizada y dirigida por Gene Wilder. Está coprotagonizada por Charles Grodin, Gilda Radner, Joseph Bologna, Judith Ivey y Kelly LeBrock, y es una nueva versión (o remake) de la película francesa Un éléphant ça trompe énormement, traducida en España como Un elefante se equivoca enormemente, dirigida en 1976 por Yves Robert.
La banda sonora original de la película fue compuesta por Stevie Wonder, con la excepción de "It's More Than You" de Ben Bridges, y presenta actuaciones de Wonder y Dionne Warwick. Wonder recibió un Premio de la Academia a la Mejor Canción Original por la canción "I Just Called to Say I Love You". El álbum alcanzó el número cuatro en la lista Billboard 200 de EE. UU., el número uno en la lista de álbumes de R&B (durante cuatro semanas) y el número dos en la lista de álbumes del Reino Unido. Otro gran compilado con importantes artistas femeninas que en su momento lideraron las listas. Los temas son en su mayoría muy conocidos del público en general que en la década de los '60 y '70 solía escuchar música en la radio (claro, casi no había otra manera de escuchar música, y la era de los cassettes, cd's y posteriores pendrives y memorias estaba lejano). Interpretaciones muy solventes y profesionales con temas remasterizados que suenan excelentes. Sin embargo, no es para quien guste del rock, pues hay muchos temas románticos y en estilos más bien soul y R&B. Lo que me llamó la atención al escucharlo es la notoria diferencia entre las cantantes de color y las cantantes blancas, pues los estilos cambian del cielo a la tierra. Las primeras son de un clásico soul, R&B y las segundas son más pop con tintes beat o sunshine pop.
